Growing
During the first four weeks after planting we make a pinch that eliminates the apical trend from the plant and stimulates the growth of lateral shoots that will be our future flowers.
On the next 20 to 24 weeks we escort the plants in their development by forming their structure, guaranteeing the correct location in the beds and helping the stems grow healthy which will be our warranty of quality flowers in the productive stage.
For carnations we take off the side buttons so that the main stem will grow bigger and In Spray Carnations we take off the head of the stem to promote the growth of lateral flower buds.
We look very carefully to execute all these labors in the precise time of the day and development stage of the plant.
